Entabeni Nature Guide Training school is an established training company based in the 25-000ha Entabeni Safari Conservancy in the Waterberg Mountains of the Limpopo province.
This richly diverse area boasts hundreds of different representative species of plants, birds, reptiles and mammals. This incredible diversity of flora and fauna presents an ideal situation for the training and preparing of nature guides. EcoTraining - Pioneer & Leader in Field Guide Training. EcoTraining has been in the business of training guides and offering nature courses since 1993 with a 100% safety record. EcoTraining conducts their courses in the remote wilderness areas of Karongwe GR, Selati GR and in the far north of Kruger National Park on the Makuleke concession.

Africa Nature Training (ANT) was founded in South Africa in 2002 and dedicated to conservation and environmental training. ANT's programmes focus on providing quality education for both the nature enthusiast and those individuals wishing to pursue a career in nature guiding. Our courses are aligned with the curricula set by the Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA) and the relevant unit standards of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
Africa Nature Training offers a variety of different courses, including a year long Nature Enthusiast Course, dedicated birding courses, fun filled bush basics weekend courses and career courses for prospective field guides. Our career courses include a month long FGASA Level I course, a month long Trail Guide Course, FGASA advanced rifle handling course as well as First Aid Training. Jonathan Leeming - Scorpions of Southern Africa:
Jonathan Leeming is one of southern Africa leading authorities on southern African spiders and scorpions. Jonathan widely renown as the author of Scorpions of Southern Africa, and co-author of The Bushveld – a Comprehensive Guide to the Waterberg. Through Scorpion Adventures, Jonathan gives field guide training in southern Africa to various lodges and covering all aspects of spiders and scorpions.
With over 25 years of working with southern African spiders and scorpions, Jonathan can offer your training like no other. Training is very practical and consists of field trips, UV light fieldwork, identification workshops, presentations, guiding for spiders and scorpions, scorpion handling, medical considerations and first aid. Jonathan is associate lecturer for various FGASA certified training providers and runs courses in conjunction with other field guide training organisations.
